Technical Architecture: How Lossless Client-Side PDF Merging Works

Merging two or more PDF documents is far more complex than concatenating raw byte arrays. Because every PDF file maintains its own internal Indirect Object Numbering (`1 0 obj`, `2 0 obj`...) and byte-offset Cross-Reference (`xref`) Table, simply appending one PDF to another produces a corrupt file.
